Curtains for the living room

We inherited a hideous sheer for our living room window when we moved in and for all the sewing I do, I didn't get around to replacing it..which was a shame. Not anymore...meet our new living room curtain. To think it just takes 15 mins to sew a curtain...I wonder why we lived with it for this long.
